Greystone Legal

We're supporting Durham Cathedral

Durham Cathedral is pleased to welcome Greystone Legal to the growing community that is our 2020 Club. Greystone Legal, founded and run by Paul Humble and Ben Healey, operate out of County Durham and cover the whole of Northern England. They provide high levels of support to businesses with expert legal services and innovative legal advice in employment and commercial law.

Paul Humble, Senior Partner at Greystone Legal said: “One of our key strengths is the ability to forge strong and friendly relationships with our clients while retaining the objectivity needed to provide sound and practical commercial advice, along with proactive and assertive representation.”

Ben Healey, also a Partner at Greystone Legal said: “Durham Cathedral is a wonderfully iconic building that we identify with as part of our region. We even feature it in our marketing materials. Joining the 2020 Club is our way of being able to give back to the community of people that use and admire the Cathedral. Whilst our contribution to Foundation 2020 is modest, the resulting endowment shall provide a sustainable future for the repair of the Cathedral, allowing it to be enjoyed by future generations.”

The 2020 Club supports the ongoing Foundation 2020 campaign, which is aiming to build a £10 million endowment fund. The interest generated from this figure will pay for the annual routine maintenance costs of the Cathedral’s buildings each year. The support of Greystone Legal, along with other club members will be felt for years to come. Every £1 given towards the campaign that helps us raise the first £1 million will be matched pound for pound by a grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Relationship and Development Manager at Durham Cathedral, Matthew Kirk, said: “I am delighted to welcome Ben and Paul into the 2020 Club. Greystone Legal is a great business providing excellent services to our region’s business community and it’s wonderful to have them on board supporting Foundation 2020 as club members.”
